I have aways dabbled in mixing textiles and media, but this was my first project where someone had asked me to do a portrait. I experimented with splashes of water color and printed scrap booking paper. My friend, Heidi Fifield is a very talented singer, and wanted an album cover that would be original and different. I took two images of her and made black and white photo copies and started to collage.
Lomography tour in Chicago wearing my slouchy super comfortable harlem pants. If you have never heard of lomopgraphy definitely check it out.. its film that has a little bit of a filter on it. Different films exaggerate different things such as color or lighting.
Blouse stolen from my friends Closet, thanks Adora
Anybody that knows me, knows of my fur obsession. I repurposed the rabbits fur from a guy's snow hat into chic detailing on a leather mini back pack. I swear mini back packs are making a slow come back. The fur is attached to the flap closure of the backpack.
This look reminds me of a cute outdoors-y camper girl.
I love it when my friends get excited about the things I am doing and want to be a part of them. My girl, Allie jumped on board two months after I launched the website. We collaborated for urban camper, grunge, and spring queen photoshoots. For this look we wandered downtown St. Petersburg. Check out the rest of the photos in my look book page.
